On June 12th, Mr. Wang Kesheng, professor of Norwegian University of Science and Technology and also academician of Norway Academy of Engineering visited HUAT as a visiting guest and gave a lecture entitled Industry 4.0: A Way from Mass Customization to Mass Personalization Production
Professor Wang Kesheng started his lecture with "what is Mass Personalization Production (hereinafter referred to as MPP)", "what is industry 4.0, how to achieve MPP" and other aspects of profound analysis, and through some enterprise development case to show you how to use industry 4.0 to help enterprises to transform, and the process of transformation of Mass Customization (hereinafter referred to as MC) to MPP. Taking Made in China-2025 as an example, professor Wang demonstrated how MPP developed on the basis of innovation drive, intelligentization, Internet plus and industry 4.0.
Mr. Wang Yi, doctor of University of Plymouth also introduced his own research in the field of industry 4.0 and explained how to collect data, process data and build database so that the audience learned more about industry 4.0. At the end of the lecture, Professor Wang and Dr. Wang exchanged opinions with some of the participants.
