From June 2nd to 4th, 2017, the thirteenth MOS national contest (Microsoft Office) final was held in Beijing. 8 students of HUAT participated in the contest under the guidance of their instructor, Mr.Li Fahai and Ms.Cao Xia and achieved great success. Mr. Dai Jiaxi won championship in the group of Excel 2010 and runner up in the group of PPT2010. He will on behalf of China go to USA to participate the international MOS contest to be held in Los Angeles in USA in 2017 and compete with contestants from more than 170 countries around the world.
The contest held in Beijing was jointed organized by National University Basic Education Research Institute, Microsoft in China, Pearson and CERNET, which is open to all university and college students around the country. It lasted almost 6 months and more than ten thousand students participated in it with 236 candidates elected to the national finals.
