On November 25th, the delegation led by Mr. Axakalov Kumar, governor of the State of North Kazakhstan, visited HUAT, accompanied by Ms. Wang Xiao, vice Mayor of Shiyan City, and other department directors of the city government. Mr. Luo Yongge, vice president of HUAT and Ms. Ma Xun, director of international cooperation and exchange office, showed the guests around the campus.
The delegation first visited the library and the history museum, which showed the details of the development of HUAT with pictures and illustrations in the past 40 years. The museum left a deep impression on the guests. Mr. Axakalov Kumar also made a enthusiastic speech and left his signature on a message book. He said they would build a similar university with feature of automotive industry in their own state and invited leaders and professors of HUAT to visit Kazakhstan in a appropriate time.
The delegation also visited some other research centers, laboratories and student’s innovation bases.
