 Mr.Zhou Jianguang Comes to HUAT for Investigation and Communication

On the afternoon of November 20th, Mr. Zhou Jianguang, vice Director of Dongfeng Motor Corporation Technology Center, Mr. He Ting, chief engineer of new energy fuel cell department, and Mr. Yang Hang visited HUAT to investigate and exchange opinions about project cooperation, talent cultivation, young teachers’ hands-on practice in enterprises and joint-setting up platform of technology innovation etc.. 

President Zhong Yuning and other related directors and professors of departments, deans of schools and directors of related local government departments attended the exchange meeting.  


At the meeting, Mr. Xu Xiang, director of science and technology department made a report, briefly introducing general information about science and technology research of HUAT, key research teams and their development. Other members of HUAT also made a brief introduction about their own research development, basic research and findings. Mr. Li Kai introduced the concept of intelligent driving by Dongfeng Motor Corporation, basic research, and findings in the intelligent network technology. After the introduction, both sides discussed and exchanged issues related to the cooperation in smart driving, new energy and big data and other issues related to the construction of students’ internship bases.   

Zhong Yuning extended his welcome and thanks to the visit of Mr. Zhou Jianguang and his colleagues. He also hopes that all the related departments and schools should cooperative actively with the Center in the field of research, production and learning, co-op education with enterprises.   

Mr. Zhou Jianguang said that the present cooperation projects would be carried out thoroughly. He also expressed his hope that the two sides could set up a new alliance in smart car network, cooperate further in the field of young teachers’ practice in enterprises, joint-training of graduates, development of unmanned technology of formula racing cars and other frontier researches.
