 The 6th China Dependability Computing Conference Is Hosted by HUAT in Shiyan

Sponsored by China Computer Federation (CCF) and China Technical Committee on Fault Tolerant Computing (CTCFTC), and jointly hosted by HUAT and Innovation Strategic Alliance of Shiyan Automotive Electronic Technology, the 6th China Dependability Computing Conference-2017 (CDC) was held at Wudang International Hotel on October 13th.

 

Presented at the conference were more than 50 experts, scholars and representatives from such universities, institutions and enterprises as Tsinghua University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Wuhan University of Technology, Dongfeng Motor Company etc. The Conference was presided by Mr. Zhou Haiying, dean of School of Automotive Engineer School.

 

Also invited are other honored guests such as Ms. Liu Yun Mei, vice mayor of the  people's Government of Shiyan City, Mr. Zhong Yuning, president of HUAT, Mr. Han Yin, secretary general of CTCFTC, who made an opening speech at the conference.


 

The meeting centered around the topics of technology and application of dependability of computing and its application in smart car network, discussing problems related to dependability computing in the process of development of intelligence and information of smart car network. The honored guests also exchanged research findings and experience related to dependability computing within in the country. 


 

It is reported that the National Conference of dependability computing has had six sessions since 2004. As fundamental research of dependability computing, its development is closely related to the performance and level of key equipment of the state and plays significant role in the field of computer industry, e-commerce, logistic network etc. The conference gathered well-known experts, scholars and entrepreneurs around the country who had a wide and deep discussion about issues and problems related to dependability computing, which will play an active role in advancing dependability computing technology.
