On October 13th, a meeting was organized by teachers’ development center and international office at which young teachers shared their experience of studying and working abroad. Vice president Jian Wei, Luo Yongge, directors of related departments and teachers from schools attended the meeting, which was presided by Ms. Ma, director of international cooperation and exchange office.
At the meeting, four teachers who studied or worked as visiting scholars in different universities abroad made reports on what they did and saw, and how they felt when they lived abroad. Their reports range from university curriculum, preparation for studying and working abroad to essay writing etc.
After their reports, Mr. Jian Wei made an affirmative comment on their effort in studying abroad and asked that a better exchange platform should be built so that their experience can be public resources accessible to other teachers planning to studying abroad. He said the school was going to strengthen the support of fund and policy so that more teachers could get involved in different kinds of research, studying and visiting abroad. He also hopes that the teachers studying abroad should not only pay attention to their own research field and interest, but also spend time getting information about new concepts and models of foreign universities which benefit the development of our own school.
