On September 28th, Mr. Hua Boquan, president of Ukraine Tuffley National University (UTNU), Mr. Chen Junji, secretary general of Silk Road Alliance of Small and Medium Enterprises, and other companions visited HUAT. Vice President Zhang Youbin held a welcome meeting with the guests at the conference room at Yufu Library.
At the meeting, Zhang Youbing made a brief introduction about HUAT, ranging five aspects from general outline, professional setting, scientific research, education, achievements to international exchange. He said that in recent years the school had achieved significantly with focusing attention on hot industry, actively expansion of disciplines construction and promotion of cooperation. He also said that technological innovation is an important part of The Belt and Road international cooperation. This meeting for both sides built a platform for international cooperation and exchange, which he expected to be a beginning of cooperation in the field of talent training, scientific research and cooperation.
Mr. Hua Boquan showed great interest in the achievements made by HUAT in recent years and expressed his warm welcome for the teachers and students to visit UTNU. He said both sides should discuss the details and identify the starting point for cooperation, which would lay a foundation for deeper exchange and cooperation in the future.
After the meeting, the delegation also visited Hubei Wei Wei Hydraulic Control Electronics Co., Ltd., Dongfeng Automobile Parts Group and some research centers and students’ innovation centers etc.
