According to news released by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council (ADCSC), two masters programs of HUAT, mechanical engineering and material science and engineering has passed the assessment carried out by experts from ADCSC, which means the two programs are qualified in teaching and education.

The results of the assessment is divided into three categories, “qualified”, “rectification in fixed time” and “canceled”. It is said that there are 202 programs, including 129 doctor’s programs and 68 master’s programs in 80 universities going through this assessment. In preparation for the assessment, HUAT had a special team studying carefully the related documents and regulations of ADCSC and working on the materials necessary for the examination. They also consulted experts in the same field for advice to make the programs invulnerable and unquestionable. Besides, HUAT also take it as a chance to reform and promote the curricula and talent training plans so as to provide the society, enterprises with better qualified graduates.
