On January 3rd, Mr. Zhang Lihong, doctor and associate professor of Memorial University of Newfoundland was invited to the "Dong Forum", delivering a lecture entitled "Design -for -manufacturability -aware automated layout retargeting for analog and RF ICs”. The lecture was chaired by Xu Xiang, director of the science and technology department. More than 80 teachers and students from school of electrical and information attended the lecture.
Apart from the lecture, Dr. Zhang also introduced Canada's culture, special geographical location, living and working environment, and shared its own learning experience, research area and achievements in scientific research. Subsequently, Zhang Lihong, based on what he and his team was researching, introduced in detail international frontier problems in the design-for-manufacturability-aware automated layout retargeting for analog and RF ICs and explained how problems are found, ideas and methods to solve the problems, which is really a wonderful academic lecture for the audience.
After the lecture, there was also an interactive exchange of questions between the lecturer and listeners and Dr. Zhang answered all of the questions.
