A few days ago, HUAT’s seven teaching achievements won awards from Hubei Provincial Educational Department, two first prize, one second prize and four third prize. The prizes are awarded every four years for one hundred and eleven universities and colleges in the province. It is reported that there are 862 achievements competing for the prizes and 200 are awarded first prize, 200 second prize and 200 third prize.

The teaching achievement award reflects the teaching level of a university to some extend as well as the significance a university attached to the construction of teaching, teaching reform and the work a university puts into talent training. For years, HUAT has been advancing the construction and reform of undergraduate programs. By project funding, teachers carry out research on hot issues about higher education and practical problems that exist in the education and teaching reform that centers around students and has made fruitful achievements.
