A project called research and application of electronic control system for new energy car based on real-time Ethernet stepped into trial stage. An ATV based on this kind of technology ran out the laboratory on March 26th. The project was undertaken by a team led by Professor Zhou Haiying, professor and dean of Auto Engineer College.
President Zhong Yuning also came to the test field and watched the performance of the trial ATV. He congratulated the team on their success in the project and encouraged them to work harder to make more progress.
It is said the team has been working on the project since late 2017. They spent countless weekends, spare time and holidays to make the testing car.
In-Vehicle real-time Ethernet is the frontier of in-vehicle network, which can effectively solved the problems caused by the increasing number of in-vehicle electronic control units and the need for high bandwidth with application of new ADAS in in-vehicle data communication, which is also the focus of technicians in the filed of automotive technology at home and abroad. The trail success indicates an advancement of smart driving technology made by the team.
