From August 24-27, 2018, the National University Symposium on Instrumentation 2018, was held in Dalian, Jilin Province. The meeting was sponsored by the Instrument Science and Technology Teaching Committee of the Ministry of Education and the China Machinery Industry Education Association and co-sponsored by Dalian Jiaotong University, Dalian University of Technology and Dalian Maritime University. 

More than 300 experts and professors from over 120 universities and more than 20 professors and experts, including president Zhong Yuning, delivered speeches centered around the topics on talent training methods for instrumentation program, program connotation construction, program construction based on OBE concept, curriculum system construction, innovative talent cultivation and national standard connotation under the background of new subjects.
