A list of provincial college students’ innovative and entrepreneurial training projects in 2018, in which 80 projects applied by HUAT students are included, was released a few days ago by Hubei Provincial Department of Education (HPDE). Among the 80 projects, 78 belong to innovative training projects and 2 of them are start-up training projects. Compared the number of the projects approved in 2017, the number approved this year doubled and created a new history.

It is said that the project of innovation and entrepreneurship training program for college students is an important measure to improve the quality of higher education and an important way to improve the quality of talent training. In 2018, with the support of the educational administration department and schools and colleges as well as overall organization, co-application by teachers and students, expert scrutiny and publicity, HUAT selected 106 projects to apply for provincial and state level fund and as a result, 80 of them get approved.

The director of college of innovation and start-up business says they will focus their work on the evaluation of those projects, strengthen process management and service so as to make sure that all the projects ends dully and with high quality. They will also take it as a chance to enhance their work on the innovation and start-up business, deepen education reform and increase talents training quality.
