On the morning of June 14, 2018, directors of some department of HUAT held a meeting with visitors from Futon Daimler Automotive, Beijing Co., Ltd. and signed a cooperation agreement.
The participants watched the propaganda videos about HUAT and Futon Daimler together. After that, Mr. Zhang Runlin, director of the department of network and training gave a positive comment on HUAT’s features and achievements. He thought that the cooperation between universities and enterprises has great potential and worth the efforts. He also put forward some suggestions on the cooperation mode, the scope of cooperation and the cooperation field. Mr. Feng Jian, anther director of Futon Daimler, expressed his idea of “oriented class” from necessity and feasibility, which makes it possible for an enterprise to get the exactly needed talents from a university.
Xu Xiang introduced HUAT’s history of school and enterprise cooperation and achievements resulted from it. Other department directors expressed their opinions and offered some suggestions about future cooperation.
Beijing Futon Daimler Automotive Co., Ltd., as a joint venture manufacturer of well-known commercial vehicles in China, needs a large number of automotive industry talents each year.
