On the morning of October 18, Ms. Hannele Teir, Vice-President and Director of Education and Ms. Li Xu China Programme Coordinator of Centria University of Applied Sciences, Finland, visited HUAT. Vice-President Luo Yongge and Zhang Youbing had a cordial meeting with Finnish guests, accompanied by Ms. Zhang Hongxia, director of teaching department, Ms. Chen Yufeng, dean of School of Electrical and Information Engineering and Ms. Ma Xun, director of International Cooperation and Exchange.
At the meeting, the two sides discussed the cooperation mechanism of promoting exchange students, double degrees, language training and teacher exchanges. The two sides jointly expressed that under the principle of mutual benefit and win-win situation, exchanges and cooperation in teaching, scientific research and culture in Colleges and universities will be further strengthened.
On behalf of our university, Vice-President Luo Yongge signed a framework agreement for international exchanges and cooperation with the guest University.
Before signing the agreement, Ms. Teir and her party also visited the College of Automotive Engineers, the College of Automobile Engineering, the Student Formula Racing Studio, the School History museum and the Library. Ms. Hannele Teir said she was impressed by the school's smart car, formula racing studio and integration of education philosophy.
