On October 15, the National Middle and Primary School Auto Creative Design Competition Final was held in the lecture hall of Yifu Library. Professor Wang Zhong, Director of the Industrial Design Branch of China Mechanical Engineering Society, Vice-Chairman of the Industrial Design Department of the Mechanical Engineering College of our university, Vice-Chairman of the Shiyan Artists Association, Assistant Professor Xie Fengchun of the Mechanical Engineering College of our university, and Professor Chu Zhongjie, a senior lecturer and founder of Changshu little painter of the Central Work and Calligraphy Commission of the Ministry of Culture, were invited to serve as judges of the competition. 

A total of 21 works from all over the country were finalists. On the day of the competition, the contestants and 80 primary school students in Zhangwan District of Shiyan City, led by the organizer of the competition, also experienced 3D printing, small solar and wind car assembly. 

It is believed that the National Middle and Primary School Auto Design Competition aims to explore the interest of young people in science and train a large number of outstanding automotive designers in the future on the platform of the large-scale series of activities of China Auto Innovation Festival in 2018.
