On the morning of September 21, Mr. Gai Yuyun, former director of the National Innovation Strategy Office of the Zhong Guancun Management Committee, accompanied by Song Yonglin, deputy director of the Shiyan City Development and Reform Commission, and Zhang Hongmei, director of the Transport Section visited HUAT. Mr. Yanglizhi the deputy party secretary of HUAT warmly received the guests. 

Mr. Yang introduced the school's background, professional characteristics, and teacher strength to the investigation group. Subsequently, the two sides held communication and exchanges on subject construction, teaching and research, personnel training, joint education, and international exchanges. 

Mr. Gaiyuyun and his party fully affirmed the achievements made by HUAT in scientific research and personnel training around the automotive industry chain. He said that he would actively help the school build a cooperation platform with well-known automotive companies and continuously improve the school's independent innovation ability and high-level talents.  

Mr. Gai also visited the digital National Engineering research and steam research center of HUAT, Formula Racing Team Studio, the Hubei Provincial Key Laboratory of Automobile Power Drive and Electronic Control, and the Institute of Active Safety and Intelligent Driving. In addition, he communicated with the relevant responsible persons on the intelligent network self-driving car R&D project, unmanned Formula Racing, and the personnel training mode of the School of Automotive Engineers.
