In order to further implement the spirit of "Some Opinions of the Ministry of Education on Improving the Quality of Higher Education in an All-round Way" and "Outline of the National Medium-and Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan (2010-2020)", on December 13, 2018, the annual meeting on laboratory work of Hubei Province and its Seminar on innovation and cultural construction of laboratory equipment management of provincial colleges and universities was held Golden Hall of the Wudang International Hotel. President Zhong Yuning attended the conference and addressed the opening ceremony. More than 380 teachers from 38 colleges and universities in Hubei Province participated in the conference.
It is reported that this conference is sponsored by Huazhong University of Science and Technology and co-sponsored by our university. It aims at summarizing the work of the research association, exchanging the experience of various universities, promoting innovation and development, discussing the functions and institutional mechanisms and innovative ideas of university laboratory and equipment management under the background of double-first-class, strengthening the planning of laboratory and equipment management and the capacity-building of departments and creative culture construction of universities in Hubei Province, so as to cultivate talents for universities and make more contributions.
Zhang Hongxia, Director of the Teaching Department of our school, presided over the afternoon lecture. At the meeting, Professor Zhang Jinlong, former Dean of the School of Management, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Professor Chen Shixiang, Director of the Department of Administration, School of Political and Public Administration, Wuhan University, Professor Chu Danqi, Director of the Experimental Equipment Department of Shanghai University, Professor Yang Chunyong, Secretary of the Experimental Center of Central South University for Nationalities, Zhang Jiasheng, Director of the Laboratory and Asset Management Department of Hubei University of Technology, and eight experts, including Yang Bo, the director and deputy director of educational administration, Chen Shaochang, the chief professor of Electronic Science and technology of Naval Engineering University, and Zheng Yanxiong, the deputy director of laboratory and equipment management of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, made brilliant presentations.
Vice President Zhang Youbing, Tang Deqiang, director of Asset Management Department and some laboratory directors of HUAT attended the meeting.
