Recently, Hubei Smart Travel Industry Technological Innovation Alliance was established in Wuhan Economic Development Zone. The alliance aims to gather resources for automobile innovation and entrepreneurship, strengthen the exchange and market docking between industry and enterprises, promote the transformation of production, education and research achievements between universities and enterprises, and promote new energy and smart cars and automotive industry in Hubei Province. Vice President Zhang Youbing and Dean Zhou Haiying of Automotive Engineering College attended the unveiling meeting of the Alliance. At the meeting, HUAT was elected Secretary-General of the League.
It is reported that Hubei Smart Travel Industry Technological Innovation Alliance was initiated by the Wuhan Economic Development Zone Government, Dongfeng Company and Hubei Automobile Industry Institute. The first group of members gathered 13 industry resources from the government, universities, automobile enterprises, testing institutions, innovation service platforms and technological innovation enterprises. The establishment of the alliance relies on the automobile industry foundation of Wuhan Economic Development Zone for nearly 30 years. Taking the construction of intelligent automobile demonstration zone as an opportunity, it will effectively integrate the superior enterprises, science, education and innovation resources in communication, electronics and other fields in Wuhan and Hubei. The alliance is based on local, global and collaborative innovation. It provides all-round services for all parties in the industrial chain, such as innovation cooperation, achievement transformation, personnel training, financial support, project landing standards, and promotes the construction of a trillion-level next-generation automobile industry pattern in the central region.
