Recently, the People's Government of Hubei Province commended the 11th Excellent Achievement Award of Social Sciences in Hubei Province. Ms. Peng Juanjuan, Mr. Wu Xiaohui and Mr. Yang Lijun from School of Economics and Management have won a third prize in the series of papers for their "Multi-criteria Decision-Making Method and Its Application in Management Decision-Making". This is the first time that our school has won this honor in nearly ten years, and it is also the only award-winning achievement of Shiyan City in this year.

In recent years, with the constant adjustment of scientific research policy in our school, teachers enthusiasm for scientific research has been greatly mobilized, and a number of high-level scientific research achievements have been produced, which has made important contributions to the prosperity of the development of philosophy and Social Sciences in Hubei Province and to the suggestions of the Hubei Provincial Government.

It is reported that the Excellent Achievements Award of Social Sciences in Hubei Province was established by the People's Government of Hubei Province. It aims to commend the outstanding achievements of social sciences which have played an active role in upholding the correct political orientation, persisting in reform and innovation, persisting in service practice, and promoting the economic and social construction of Hubei Province. The award is appraised every two years and is the highest-level award in social science circles of Hubei Province.
