On the morning of November 20, Chen Anli, Vice Governor of Hubei Provincial People's Government, came to visit HUAT in the company of Mr. Liu Zhongchu, deputy secretary-general of the provincial government, Mr. Zhang Jinyuan, deputy director of the provincial education department, Mr. Zhang Weiguo, Secretary of the Shiyan Municipal Party Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, Mr. Liu Rongshan, director of the Municipal Committee Standing Committee, and Liu Yunmei, deputy mayor of the Municipal Government.
Directed by Mr. Cheng Hongbing, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Yang Lizhi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Governor Chen Anli and her delegation visited the school's 3D printing application innovation center. During the visit, Zhang Yuanhao, Dean of Material Science and Engineering College, introduced the construction of 3D printing application innovation center. Ms. Chen fully affirmed the school's characteristics and achievements in recent years. She hoped that the school should accelerate the pace of reform and development, and make the school better.
The 3-D printing application innovation center was built in accordance with the needs of material research and professional personnel training in Made in China 2025 and the development of automobile lightweight. It is based on the principle of improving the technological innovation of automobile materials and forming processing and the ability and level of personnel training, with emphasis on Lightweight structure of automobile parts and components, lightweight materials and research on lightweight technology so as to provide technical and talent support for the development of China's automobile industry and local economic construction. The center is co-constructed by Hubei Daoda Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. and HUAT.
