On the morning of November 14, Wen Qinzhong, members of the Shiyan Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee(MPCSC) and director of the Budget Work Committee, and his five-member evaluation team came to proofread the proposal of the representative of the Municipal People's Congress on supporting the planning and construction of the new campus of HUAT. Cheng Hongbing, Secretary of the Party Committee of HUAT, warmly received the evaluation team and held a research seminar in the conference room on the third floor of the administrative building.
At the meeting, Zhang Jing, Director of the Development Planning Department, introduced to the evaluation team the development planning of HUAT and the basic situation of the functional layout of the new campus planning. Cheng Hongbing, Secretary of the Party Committee, expressed the school's opinions on the management of the proposal by the relevant departments directly under the municipal government. He thanked the Municipal People's Congress and the five municipal departments that sponsored the proposal for their strong support to the school. He also put forward two specific suggestions on the follow-up of the proposal.
The evaluation team communicated in detail about the new campus planning, investment scale, progress and so on, and gave good suggestions on how to plan scientifically and how to speed up the process.
Subsequently, the evaluation team also visited the proposed land expropriation plots in the new campus of HUAT, and further gave opinions and suggestions on the planning and construction of the new campus of the school.
