From May 13th to 17th, Prof.Ulrich Schrade from Hochschule Ulm Technik (THU) in Germany visited HUAT and conducted an evaluation test combined with written examination and interview  as well as five-semester academic records for 8 students in our 2016 German language class, among whom 5 students were given the opportunity to study in Germany in September this year. In September 2006, HUAT signed a dual-degree cooperation agreement with THU, which was renewed in May 2018. Students from mechanical and automotive or other related majors in HUAT can voluntarily study German for two and a half years since the first school year, continue their study in THU if passing the written examination and the interview given by the professors, and then return to HUAT to apply for a bachelor’s degree after completing study and obtaining bachelor's degree in THU. The dual-degree education program has been cooperated for more than a decade, and more than 40 students have already graduated, meanwhile more than half of the students who apply for graduate education in Germany choose to further their study at THU.
