On May 13th, the opening ceremony of HUAT Membership Activity Center with the Introduction of ‘Lecture Hall for Automobile’ sponsored by China Society of Automotive Engineers was held in the auditorium of HUAT.
Yang Lizhi, Deputy Secretary of the School Party Committee, Zhang Youbing, Vice President, Wang Ju, Deputy Secretary General of CSAE, Li Shunhu, Assistant to the Secretary General and other leaders from CSAE, together with more than 800 teachers and students participated in the ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Feng Ying, Dean of the College of Automotive Engineering. Yang Lizhi and Wang Ju jointly unveiled the plaque of HUAT Membership Activity Center for CSAE, and held the signing and flag-giving ceremony for the director and executive committee of the society.
It is reported that HUAT Membership Activity Center is one of the six established centers in universities in the first half of this year, and the other five universities are: Liaoning University of Technology, Wuhan University of Technology, Jiangsu University, Hefei University of Technology and Jilin University.
