On the afternoon of April 9th, at the invitation of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, Prof. Li Jianjin, the chief coordinator of the cooperation project between the University of Clermont Auvergne (UCA) and HUAT, attended the international salon held at the Teacher Development Center, who gave us a lecture on Système d'école d'ingénieur (French Engineering Education System) and discussed with teachers from HUAT for exchange of views.
Professor Li systematically introduced the origin and development of the French engineering education system as well as its training objectives, teaching arrangement and administrative management. Then, Professor Li gave a brief introduction to the University of Clermont Auvergne (UCA) and the lives of the students from HUAT who went to UCA under the “3+3” cooperation project.
The interactive session is just like a gathering party between friends，during which teachers are always asking questions about their own interests and Professor Li took her own experience as an example to answer the teachers' questions about French engineering education system and its teaching philosophy as well as teaching methodology in France.
