At the invitation of ICEO of HUAT, Ms. Hannele Teir, Vice President of Centria University of Applied Sciences, Finland,and her colleagues:Dean of Business Management Department -Janne Peltoniemi, Director of the Students Affair & Admission Office-Mari Emmes, President Assistant-Kati Bang and China Programme Coordinator - Li Xu, visited HUAT on the afternoon of March 13.
Chen Yufeng, Dean of College of Electrical & Information Engineering and Party Secretary Zhou Peng, as well as Huang Haibo,Deputy Dean, gave them a general introduction to the college, the majors,the scientific research directions and achievements as well as students’ accomplishments in recent years.The two sides exchanged opinions on the issues of double degree programme and the exchange of teachers between the two universities. Subsequently, accompanied by the leaders of College of Electrical & Information Engineering,the guests visited the Institute of Automotive Information Control & Network Technology,the Computer Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center and the Sub-Center of Automotive Manufacturing Automation for the National Project Research Center of Digital Equipment Manufacturing.
Qian Jie, Dean of the School of Economics and Management and Party Secretary Yang Lijun, as well as Zhou Ende,Deputy Dean,had an in-depth exchange with the guests based on the existing agreement between the two universities, and both sides announced to promote the cooperative cultivation of "2+1+1" and "3+1" modes for double degree program. Both sides also agree to put another two majors—information management & information system and information resource management into the double degree program.
