At 9:00 am GMT+0 on July 8th, the opening ceremony of 2019 excellent students overseas study tour program was held at the University of Bolton. Martyn Shaw, Director of the Business Development Center, Ben Chen, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Division, together with teachers and students from HUAT participating in the study tour attended the ceremony.
At the meeting, Martyn Shaw delivered a welcome speech and introduction of the history and development of the University of Bolton. Ben Chen gave a detailed introduction to the main arrangements and precautions of the study tour. The University of Bolton has carefully prepared for the program, including classroom teaching, campus trip and cultural tours. 24 excellent students, who went through careful selection, from the College of Automotive Engineering, College of Mechanical Engineering, College of Electrical and Information Engineering, College of Materials Engineering, etc. participate in the study tours this year. It is reported that more than 20 students from different colleges in HUAT have participated in the program each year ever since 2016, whose integral qualities have been enhanced through enrichment of their personal experiences and expansion of their international horizons.
According to the introduction of the director from the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, HUAT will continue to carry forward excellent students overseas study tour program to expand the international cooperation through various channels, and to promote the quality of talents training. We hope that more and more excellent students will participate in the program and enhance their international vision and comprehensive quality.
