From July 1st to 5th, the 2019 Pan-Pearl River Delta + College Students Computer Competition Finals (undergraduate group) was held at the Macau Polytechnic Institute. After five days of exhibition, communication, appraisal and defense, the works from HUAT students Meng Xiangsheng and Li Yufa, "The Target Detection System Based on Two-Wheeled Balanced Cars" won the second prize; The Battery Management System Comprehensive Tester of Electric Vehicles" from Wang Yajun, Luo Chuang won the second prize; "Working Character Recognition System Based on Image Processing" from Li Suxuan, Liu Yanxi won the third prize and the best display prize.
The Pan-Pearl River Delta + University Students Computer Competition is a national-scale computer event with a high level of professionalism, recognition and support from the higher education and technology industries. The 14th tournament final is the largest-scale competition in numbers of participating regions and contestants compared with previous ones, which lasted more than three months, and nearly 1,000 teams from Guangdong, Yunnan, Hainan, Guangxi, Guizhou, Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, Sichuan, Jiangsu, Chongqing, Hubei, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan participated in the competition. After fierce competition, 56 teams entered the finals.
