China Computer Federation(CCF) Campus Tour reached HUAT on June 21st. As a member of CCF Network and Data Communication Committee & Ubiquitous Computing Committee and Professor Yu Chen from HUST, together with Professor Wu Weiwei from Southeast University, also a member of CCF Network and Data Communication Committee, were invited to give two lectures on“Combination of Network and Data” and “Design and Incentive Mechanisms for Budgetary – From Unilateral Market to Bilateral Market”to the teachers and students in the Center of Faculty Development.
Chen Yufeng, Dean of College of Electrical and Information Engineering, extended a warm welcome to the two professors and gave a brief introduction to the CCF Campus Activities. Vice President Zhang Youbing also gave a welcome speech. Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Division Wang Lihua, teachers and students from College of Electrical and Information Engineering attended the lectures.
Founded in 1962, CCF is an academic group in China's computer and its related fields, aimed at providing services for the academic and professional development in this field with the purpose of promoting academic progress and application of technological achievements, conducting academic evaluation and leading academic direction, as well as acknowledgement for individuals and organizations with outstanding academic and technical achievements. “CCF Campus Tour”is a series of public activities organized by senior experts and entrepreneurs from CCF to give lectures in universities for helping college students improve their professional ability through answering academic questions and guiding career planning, which were held in many famous universities across the nation, such as Remin University of China ,Zhejiang University and Wuhan University.
