From May 30th to June 2nd, the Finals of the 9th National University Computer Application Ability and Information Competition was held at the Capital University of Economics and Business. Students from HUAT won a national second prize in the group of big data technology and application competition for undergraduate students, a national second and a third prize in the group of mini program creative design competition for undergraduate students ,two national second prizes in the group of professional computer English competition for undergraduate students,two national second prizes and three third prizes in the group of office business application ability competition for undergraduate students. It is reported that 15,000 students from more than 200 colleges and universities participated in this competition and 901contestants from 146 colleges and universities entered the finals.
The competition was jointly sponsored by Association of Fundamental Computing Education in Chinese Universities,Advisory Committee for Computing Education of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Computer Education Magazine,which is a national platform for demonstrating university student's ability of computer application,which consists of 7 major competitions: big data technology and application, mini program creative design, artificial intelligence technology and application, professional computer English, office business application ability.
