On the afternoon of May 17, at the invitation of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of HUAT, Prof. Ulrich Schrade from Hochschule Ulm Technik (THU) in Germany attended the International Salon held at the Teacher Development Center and gave a lecture concerning the electric car and solar energy as core elements of a CO2 reduction strategy in private housholds of Germany.The Professor also exchanged views with some teachers and German language class students in HUAT.
Professor Ulrich Schrade first systematically analyzed the development of energy structure and energy consumption in Germany as well as the current situation of the German electric vehicles market with detailed data and charts, followed by an introduction to the trend of the use of renewable clean energy as an important strategy for reducing carbon dioxide emissions with examples of electric vehicles and solar energy in his own house, during which the professor exchanged views with teachers and students from HUAT about the electric vehicles market and the energy structure in Germany.
