In order to promote the comprehension of Chinese laws and regulations as well as school disciplines for HUAT international students, and enhance their awareness of security precautions and self-protection , police officers from the Division of Exit & Entry Administration of Shiyan Municipal Public Security Bureau came to HUAT to hold a security education lecture on December 25th. Leaders of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office and all the international students attended the lecture.
Then the police officer interpreted the relevant laws and regulations for foreigners in China with detailed and vivid illustration of real cases of personal safety, property safety, traffic safety, travel safety, accidental injury, etc, to the international students during their stay in China.
The police officer also inspected the international students dormitory for prevention of potential dangers, and pointed out that the school should strengthen dormitory management, the late return and out-stay are strictly prohibited and off-campus visitors are to be reported.
