Recently, the 2nd International Panda Creative Design Festival and the 3rd Cultural + Creative International Design Week sponsored by China Automotive Creative Design Organizing Committee, Sichuan Automotive Industry Research Institute, Chengdu University China-ASEAN Art Institute, Chengdu Science and Technology Bureau, People's Government of Longquanyi District was held in Chengdu University. More than 40 guests including design masters and entrepreneurs from all over the world attended the design week. HUAT students won 1 bronze prize and 1 excellence prize as well as 4 nominee awards.
The committee of the competition received a total of 1,072 works and papers from universities and companies such as Kyushu University, Taipei Education University, Taiwan Mingzhi University, Wuhan University of Technology, Tongji University, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. and other institutions.
This event focuses on the development of the automotive industry, with technology as the guideline, culture as the connotation, creativity as the driving force, and discovering outstanding young design talents as the core, for the purpose of building a frontier position for foreign cultural exchange, as well as promoting the transformation and upgrading of China's auto industry with the platform of the Automotive + Cultural Design Week.
