At 3 pm on April 20th, Mrs. Xu Li, the coordinator of the China Program of Central University of Applied Sciences in Finland, were invited as a guest to our international micro-salon,who communicated with teachers and students who were willing to study abroad through video conferences. The salon was presided by Su Zibo, Vice Director of ICEO,Yin Lvjiang Dean of the College of Economics and Management and some teachers and students participated in the exchange.
During the exchange, Mrs Xu Li patiently answered the questions of the teachers concerning going abroad, and expressed her willingness to actively assist them to apply for international programs.Mrs Xu explained the possible impact of the epidemic to the students applying for the dual degree program, but encouraged international students to continue with their application process, affirming that Central University of Applied Sciences has already adopted correspondent countermeasures. Mrs. Xu and Mr. Yin conducted in-depth exchanges on the details of mutually carrying out teaching between faculty members from both universities. The micro-salon lasted for 2 hours, and the communication were successfully completed, which further promoted the progress of the cooperation program between the two universities.Central University of Applied Sciences in Finland signed a cooperation framework agreement with HUAT in October 2018, which laid the foundation for academic exchanges and joint training of teachers between the two universities. In October 2019, the two universities signed a dual degree program agreement for business management, covering five majors: financial management, international trade, information management and information system, information resource management and marketing, which will enable students in HUAT to go to Finland for dual degree study.
