For the purpose of experiencing the traditional Chinese culture, the International Cooperation and Exchange Office organized all the international students and part of international faculties to carry out cultural experience activity -- dumplings making on the first floor of Guiyuan Cafeteria at 11 o'clock on the morning of January 3rd, 2020. Under the guidance of the chef, the faculties and international students started making dumplings in different shapes, and some even added various shapes to their dumplings. The whole cafeteria was full of cheers and laughter. After an hour, when the cooked dumplings were served, the international faculties and students ate the delicious dumplings they had made by their own hands for the first time, who had a sense of accomplishment and said that they are the best dumpling they have ever eaten!
The Spring Festival is approaching. ICEO has arranged various activities for international students for a happy and peaceful holiday just like the Chinese. As one of a series of culture experience activities, dumpling-making enabled the international students to have a better understanding of Chinese food culture, and enriched their life.
