Recently, the results of the 2020 Hubei Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest (TI Cup) were published. The 10 participating teams from HUAT won 2 special prizes, 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 1 success prize under the leadership of instructors Chen Jinsong, Jiang Xuehuan, Zhang Jinliang, Lu Jun, and Yuan Saisai. The results of the contests set a new high record in HUAT’s history, ranking in the forefront of the other provincial universities.
A total of 518 teams from 49 colleges and universities participated in the contest, covering many fields from basic electronic design to comprehensive applications. The design result "Amplifier Nonlinear Distortion Research Device" led by Mr. Chen Jinsong of HUAT, and the design result "Ramp Driving Electric Car" led by Mr. Jiang Xuehuan finally won the special prize after the fierce competition in Xiangyang and Wuhan.
The contest is one of the highest-level academic competition which began in 1994 in China. It is a professional competition with the most participants and is widely recognized by universities across the country, which allows students to improve their practical abilities and enthusiasm for innovation through the competition.
