On November 30th, the international Micro-Salon organized by the ICEO and the College of Automotive Engineering was held in room 6510. Zhang Dawei and Man Kangning were invited to give an English lecture entitled "Introduction and Experience of Foton's Overseas Market in Africa" More than 80 teachers and students from different colleges participated in this Micro-Salon.

Zhang Dawei has been a Director of Foton Motor's Second-Hand Vehicle Export Business since 2018, a 2010 alumnus from College of Automotive Engineering, responsible for truck product development in West Africa, East Africa, Nigeria and other markets.

He combined his own experience, from the aspects such as food and clothing to share his experience in Africa with introduction of the African Foton truck market and market development situation through the colorful pictures, finally he pointed out the similarity of China-Africa history by the possibility and necessity of international cooperation.

Man Kangning, General Manager of Foton Motor's East Africa Region Overseas Business Department, has been working in Africa for more than 7 years. Based on his working experience in the truck industry in Africa for many years, he expounded the consumption situation of the African automobile market, and the business layout, scientific and technological innovation ability, market segmentation and market share of Foton in Africa and around the world. He cited Nigeria, Kenya and Ethiopia as examples to highlight the huge potential of Africa's car market.

During the interaction, Man Kangning answered questions for international students from a professional perspective and helped them analyze their career development.

After that, Su Zibo skillfully used the guest's name and message to jointly build a community with a shared future for mankind and wished the students a bright future.
