In order to actively prepare for the 41st HUAT Sports Competition and stimulate the fighting spirit of international students in China, the Mobilization Meeting was held on April 12th at 3pm in classroom 3205 as scheduled. Su Zibo, deputy director of ICEO, and Zhang Tingting, a teacher in charge of daily affairs management for international students, participated in the mobilization meeting.
Teacher Su Zibo combined the movements and emotions of some sports events to mobilize from the three aspects: the reappearance of the previous sports competitions, the introduction of the events and the current preparations, and he also introduced the competition rules and the planning arrangements for the international students. Mr.Su put forward hopes and requirements for the sports spirit of the international students. While showing the style and spirit of the competition, full consideration should be given to the benefits of Ramadan (Ramadan begins on April 13, no eating or drinking after sunrise or before sunset) for athletes and pay attention to safety.
Teacher Zhang Tingting answered questions from the international students , and organized students to register the sports events. The international students were enthusiastic and eager to try.
The sports competition will be held on May 13th and 14th. International students will appear as an independent team and this is also the first time that HUAT will hold a sports competition full of international atmosphere with the participation of international students.
