On May 19th, the 13th "Challenge Cup" extracurricular academic science and technology competition for college students in Hubei Province co-sponsored by the Hubei Provincial Communist Youth League Committee, the Provincial Association for Science and Technology, the Provincial Department of Education, and the Provincial Federation of Students ended successfully at South-Central University for Nationalities.HUAT won 1 provincial first prize and 3 second prizes,8 third prizes, and the "Excellent Organization Award".

The "Challenge Cup" extracurricular academic science and technology competition for college students is divided into three categories: scientific and technological invention production, natural science papers, and philosophy and social science reports. Since the launch of the "Challenge Cup" in February, with the strong support of colleges,HUAT’s Youth League Committee carefully organized and prepared the competition, and a large number of outstanding scientific and technological innovation works and talents emerged. After the preliminary selection of the college competition, training guidance,university-level defense and other links,HUAT finally selected and sent12 worksto participate in the 13th "Challenge Cup" college students extracurricular academic science and technology competition in Hubei Province in 2021.
