A few days ago, the result of the first World Vocational College Skills Competition came out that NDOMBASI DIAKUSALA JOAO ANDRE (Chinese name Anjie) from the Computer Class 203 of the College of Electrical and Information Engineering and Liu Shuang, the former Hubei Industrial Polytechnic (being admitted to HUAT as a freshman in the telecommunications Z204 class) won the sixth place in the maze robot competition and won the prize.

The first World Vocational College Skills Competition has a total of 15 competition items. The top 6 colleges and universities in the last National Vocational College Skills Competition and Luban Industrial Textile, Chinese university cooperated with oversea colleges and universities (including international students in China) to form 1+1 joint team formation.

After receiving the notice of the competition, Hubei Industrial Polytechnic and the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of HUAT organized carefully, under the guidance of the instructor, overcame the unfavorable factors such as summer high temperature and epidemic control, and actively prepared for more than three months. After 9 hours of intense competition, HUAT and Hubei Industrial Polytechnic joint team won the prize in the competition.

It is reported that the World Vocational College Skills Competition, as an important part of the Belt and Road Initiative, is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Education, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. The competition aims to bring together domestic and foreign vocational and technical education. The standard, technology, equipment, teachers and students in the field, insist on promoting China's vocational education to go out to serve international production capacity cooperation, build an important platform for international teachers and students to enhance friendship, exchange skills, and showcase their demeanor, and promote the future world skills community.
