On October 25, after multiple rounds of selection ,ISINGIZWE GHISLAIN BUKURA from College of Electrical and Information Engineering,HUAT won the third prize of"Focus on China-Africa Friendship and Creating a Better Future"-2021 "China-Africa Video and Photo Competition, co-sponsored by the Secretariat of the Committee of Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and the China Foreign Languages Bureau.

The photo submitted by ISINGIZWE GHISLAIN BUKURA is taken in a China-Africa Student Union basketball game in HUAT.

It is reported that the purpose of this competition is to cooperate with the Dakar Conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation to be held in Senegal this year to strengthen cultural exchanges between China and Africa. The competition is actively soliciting short videos, micro videos and photo works from Chinese and African people in more than 40 African countries with a total number of online views exceeds 40 million  enthusiastic participators from China and African countries.

In the end, 2 special prizes, 6 first prizes, 12 second prizes and 20 prize winners beat out more than 2,500 valid works, of which more than 60% is from African contestants.
