 A Specialized Research Carried Out in HUAT by Members of NCCPPCC-SC

On September 16th, Yang Lizhi, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Shiyan Committee, and some other members came to our university to carry out a specialized research entitled "Exploring the relationship between the construction of an international commercial vehicle production center and promotion of modern education".

 

During the meeting, Mr. Zhong Yuning, president of HUAT, said that Shiyan city is the world famous automobile production base, because of which HUAT came into being and became prosperous and a carrier of Chinese automobile culture. The fast and steady development of HUAT can not only provide talent support for the construction, but also add weight to Shiyan as business card of automobile city and provides the support for the construction of Shiyan city.


 

President Zhong Yuning hopes that the government of Shiyan city and HUAT can sign agreements that serve for full support of the development of the University, engineering education reform, training of international commercial vehicle talent, fully support the school campus construction, relief of the tense situation of teaching resources, the construction of high-level talent team, and as a bridge between HUAT and local large automobile enterprises, implementation of the reform of education and teaching of “two plans”, a platform for international cooperation, international cooperation information, broadening the channels of international cooperation and international visions for teachers and students. In the end he hopes that the government will provide more help both in policy and conditions for teachers and students to participate in the construction.

 

Vice Chairman Yang Lizhi gives a fully affirmative comment on the construction strategy and overall plan proposed by HUAT and says the research members will carefully collect suggestions and opinions, and take these as feedbacks to City Government through various channels and appeals.
