On October 24th, Hubei Province Aerobics Cheerleading Championship (National Games Selection) and 2020 China (Wuhan) Children's Cheerleading Classic were held at Wuhan Optics Valley International Tennis Center. There are 9 major events and 31 minor events in this competition. The competition includes competitive aerobics (competitive events and performance events), aerobics (Dance), National Aerobics, Cheerleading, etc. More than 500 contestants participated in this competition.

After two-day fierce competition, the HUAT Cheerleading team , led by the coach Miss Yu Mengjiao, with outstanding performance, won the first place in the national standard aerobic dance level 6, the national standard light equipment level 6 second place and the second place in 2020 version of the campus model flower ball movement. Through this competition, the players had broadened their horizons and knowledge of performance of other representative teams with a timely summary clarified the direction and efforts for HUAT cheerleading team's continuous improvement and further success!
