University Leaders Visited International Faculty and Students

Chinese Lunar New Year of Tiger is around the corner, the winter vacation of 2022 is about to begin. Due to the epidemic, international faculty and some of international students in HUAT will stay on campus. On the afternoon of January 15, Zhang Wenxue, president of HUAT, Zhang Hongxia, vice president, and Wang Wenshan, director of the university office, visited them and sent warm and sincere wishes. On behalf of the university, Zhang Wenxue warmly greeted the international faculty and students. He said that although the severe global pandemic situation makes it impossible for them to return to their hometowns, the university will do its best to meet their reasonable demands and ensure that they can study, work and live with peace . At the same time, he also hoped: first, to arrange vacation time reasonably by combination of work and rest; second, careful in personal protection, go out unless necessary, pay attention to personal hygiene, wash hands frequently and ventilate more, maintain social distance, and strictly implement epidemic prevention. He also urge the students to strengthen physical exercise, enhance physical fitness, and maintain a strong body to resist the epidemic. At the same time, he also hopes them can help each other, and that problems should be reported and solved in time. Finally, Zhang Wenxue sincerely wishes them a happy New Year and all the best!

Zhang Hongxia said that the participation of international faculty has made HUAT full of vitality, and many activities participated by international students have added color to the campus culture.
